Have you checked out the previous posts of this blog?

Would love to hear your comments! What would you like to know about?

In the next week, we are going to look at some tarte clay 12 hour blushes and clinque chubby sticks!

My daughter

I know, I should be trying to sleep. I am going to admit something here and only here. I have made my daughter a cosmetic junkie. She is not only that she loves hair products, perfumes and skin products. Oh my goodness what have I gotten my self into. I guess I should explain she turned 9 in January. She has autism PDD and ADHD. We use to have to beg her to shower, and groom herself. I figured well what girl wouldn't want to smell like strawberries after a shower or better yet cotton candy. Well yes, I created a monster. I guess I overcame the grooming issue. Now if I could think of something for toothpaste I'd be set. When purchasing products for her I usually go to walmart or get something from ultra when it is buy one get one. I try not to spend over 5 dollars. Five dollars is usually quart sized. Now she wants to try perfumes. I'm not ready to go down that avenue yet. Personally, I am allergic to many smells. I refuse to buy a 9 year old anything expensive. I might do some research and use some scented oils for her as a reward once she brushes her teeth with out being asked! I am so lucky to have my daughter in my life. My challenges are way different then most parents. I know my will and positive reinforcement creates endless possibilities for her future. Yes today is a day I see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's taken 6 years but she will get there, smelling like a rose!

MAC Viva Gaga II Review

I am in love with both the lipstick and lipgloss. The lipstick is amplified form. It's coloring is nude with more of a tan undertone than the gloss. Personally, I love both. This is the first neutral lipstick combo that I can say I love! I love wearing it at night with dark sultry eyes.

You are too fat so you must be surcharged

http://www.wsbtv.com/news/24708583/detail.html

In my humble opinion this is the most ridiculous thing in the world.  The customer is a sweetheart.  I would have cried like a baby.  I could not have imagine someone telling me you are just too fat to come here. If you choose to continue to come here we charge you extra because you are fat.  My question is was there a sign posted?  Who determines if you are too fat?  As far as chairs breaking, that is the price of doing business.

What do you pack when you go away?

I know I feel completely overwhelmed!  My makeup stash is huge.  I want everything.  I feel bad that I am leaving some of my "lovelies" home.  Hey let's face it we do not want our "lovelies" ruined. So I think it should all fit into a make up bag.

My suggestion for cold climates:
 Only once of each
-Sunscreen
-Primer
-Foundation
-Blush
-Waterproof eye liner
-Waterproof mascara
-WnW pallette your chose of colors
-Mini eyeprimer
-Lipstick
-Lipgloss

My suggestion for warmer climates:
One of each
-Sunscreen
-Primer
-Powder Foundation
-Blush/MSF
-Water proof eye liner
-waterproof mascara
-WnW Pallette (bronzey colors like vanity)
-Lipstick
-Lipgloss

Enjoy your vacation.  You really do not want to worry about items breaking in transit.  I will be back next week.  Hopefully with a haul =).

Shellac Anyone?

Nailpolish can be such a pain in the butt when it chips off.  I used axxium opi nail laquer and it totally ruined my nails.  How do you keep a perfect manicure for at least 7 days?  The answer is suppose to be shellac.  Let's see if it as good as people say.  I am super hard on my nails.  I wish you good luck shellac because I am the toughest opponent you will meet.  I will report back in a week.

Edit and update on 8/21:  I am super duper amazed!  This stuff looks amazing and shiny with out a chip or wear at the tips.  I think this is a must do for the super busy lady or those going on vacations.  I played in sand and did various outdoor sports.  I do not have plans to remove it.  Let's see how long it will last.
